Embrace Your Spiritual Journey: A Path to Human Experience
Exploring Your Beliefs
In life, checking off “Learn to be Spiritual” isn’t necessary—you already are a spiritual being having a human experience. What you truly need to put on your checklist is learning to be human using your spiritual nature. Growing up in a religious household exposed me to both Catholic and Lutheran churches. This experience taught me that spirituality and traditional religion can coexist. It’s not about conforming to stereotypes but about integrating all aspects of your identity. It doesn’t have to be an either/or situation; it can be both, with one enhancing the other.
The Power of Open-Mindedness
In the latest episode of This Life or Something Better podcast, we challenge the idea of exclusive truth based on individual beliefs. You can only view your life through the lens of your beliefs. Adopting a more open-minded, inclusive approach to spirituality and religion is crucial. If you want to grow and evolve, understand that our spiritual life is a personal journey that unfolds as we make life choices.
Spiritual Rating Scale: Where Do You Stand?
If you were to rate your level of satisfaction in your spiritual life on a scale from 0 to 10, where do you stand? What does spirituality mean to you? This rating isn’t about competition; it’s about personal self-assessment and growth. Reflect on your experiences and consider how you can deepen your spiritual understanding. If you are a five on the scale, what would make it a six? What steps do you need to take to make that number higher?
My Personal Transformation
My spiritual journey took a profound turn at the age of 40 after the passing of my father. This experience awakened in me a deep understanding of universal laws and faith that I never knew before. Being able to connect with my father in Spirit validated my belief in something bigger than what is happening in the world. It confirmed my role as a healer and spiritual guide.
The Call of the Spiritual Path
As I started my spiritual work, I received an astonishing call from a healer in Tibet delivering a message from Spirit and affirming my soul’s purpose. Making significant changes in my life and letting go of fear, I opened my first spiritual center. It was a pivotal moment, validated further by reconnecting with my Tibetan guide and his message.
Curiosity and Growth
Curiosity and open-mindedness are pillars of spiritual growth. Explore new ideas and experiences with no attachment to a fixed outcome. Recognize that being spiritual and human are not mutually exclusive; they complement each other beautifully. Define what spirituality looks like for you and then take steps to move toward that idea.
Final Thoughts
As you navigate your spiritual journey, remember that it’s a path of continuous exploration and self-discovery. You are constantly unfolding as a soul and as a human. Embrace your unique beliefs and integrate them into your daily life. Be the spiritual being you want to be and enjoy the journey.
